Camp Colorwheel and Turnip the Heat Cooking present: Art and Cooking Around the World.
Our hands-on, 5-day summer camp explores world cultures through art, food, games, folktales and music. Each day we will discover a new country. Colorful art and craft activities will be led by Deena Raphael of Camp Colorwheel; Joanna Sooper of Turnip the Heat Cooking will help campers prepare and cook their own lunch and snacks inspired by the day’s global destination.
We’ll have outdoor time to soak up the summer sunshine and learn new games played by children in other parts of the world.
For Ages 6 – 12
TIME: 9.00 am – 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday
PLACE: Bethany Lutheran Church + Neighborhood Center, adjacent to Wilshire Park. 4330 NE 37th Ave, Portland
COST: $275 per session. Includes morning snack, lunch and all materials. Please ask about a sibling discount.

*Cancellations must be made two weeks prior to start date of camp for full refund. Due to the provision of materials and staffing, no exceptions can be made. Cancellation with two or more weeks notice will receive full refund, minus 10% administrative fee.*
Note: Gluten, nuts, diary, eggs and meat are served at camp. If you child has life-threatening food allergies please email firstname.lastname@example.org before registration. We will need to discuss the emergency protocol and get doctor permission to ensure your student’s safety.
