Today is the day! Come enjoy Cajun food and Turnip the Heat Cooking demos at the Whole Foods Market at Fremont and NE 15th!
You can sign up for summer camps at the event!
Mark your calendars! Turnip the Heat will be doing cooking demos for kids at the Hollywood Farmer’s Market, starting May 21st!
Come out and say hello!
I am back home in rainy Oregon after a week with family in sunny Arizona! I do feel that my solar charge is back on full after many afternoons sitting in the sunshine. Good thing too – Turnip the Heat Cooking has a busy next few months! We are offering all sorts of cooking classes for kids and adults, farmer’s market demos for kids, and private parties!
I am really excited about this month’s kids’ classes. On Saturday, April 12th we will be making tacos. Exploring all sorts of fillings and toppings, as well as the history of the taco! On Saturday April 19th we will be baking up pretzels! Both traditional and unusual styles. (I also love a cheese sauce with my pretzels, so we will be whipping that up too!)
I have 2 spots left for adults in my Thai class, Friday night, April 11th. Sign up quick if you are interested. We will be focusing on the cuisine of Southern Thailand. YUM!
PS. Anyone have any good lemon recipes? 🙂
